Junior High and High School at Faith Baptist
Academic Instruction: The curriculum at Faith Baptist is made up of the total program of the School, whether it be the academic teaching, physical education, music training, Bible instruction, or special events. All phases of the curriculum are directed to assist in the ultimate development of the child.
Emphasis is placed upon student achievement, mastery, and understanding of academic fundamentals.
University Preparation: Faith Baptist Schools offers 14 dual enrollment classes through Colorado Christian University. Because CCU is a four-year liberal arts university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, CCU Dual Credits transfer to most colleges and universities across the nation.
In addition to receiving an outstanding secondary-level education, Faith Baptist junior and senior high school students are eligible to become members of the National Honor Society, the nation’s oldest and premiere student recognition program (grades 10–12). Many Faith Baptist students are also members of the California Junior Scholarship Federation (grades 7–9) or the California Scholarship Federation (grades 10–12). CJSF and CSF recognize Faith Baptist’s courses as meeting the high admission standards of the University of California.
Extracurricular activities compose an important part of a student’s growth, and Faith Baptist presents many opportunities for student participation. Drama, band, speech, and classroom projects provide students with opportunities to develop leadership. We also encourage students to be active, positive contributors in their communities.
Faith Baptist High School offers a successful sports program.
Boys’ and girls’ teams have competed in the CIF-SS playoffs in football, basketball, baseball, softball, and volleyball. An interscholastic sports program is offered for junior high students as well.
