The Faith Baptist Athletic Program has had a winning tradition since 1969, with over 40 CIF championship and runner-up titles, including a State runner-up title and a MaxPreps National Championship. We would be honored to have your child participate in any of the 40+ sports teams that we field either intramurally or interscholastically each year.

 

It is a well-known fact that student athletes excel not only physically, but also mentally, emotionally, socially, and academically as well. Through sports, athletes learn to work hard on and off the field. They are taught to work hard as they practice and as they study and prepare for their classes. Vince Lombardi, one of the greatest coaches of all time, stated that leaders are made, they are not born. They are made by hard effort, which is the price all of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile. He also said of a sport that it “…is like life; it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and respect for authority.” It’s also an “individual commitment to a group effort; that is what makes a team work, a company work, and society work, a civilization work.”
